Everyday Hero - Police Officers

Most people's first idea about heroes is the heroes in the marvel movie - Iron man, Thor and all other movie characters. But there are always a group of people sacrificing their own time to benefit the entire society, including fire fighters, police officers, nurses, etc; they are the real everyday heroes.
Police officer is one of the everyday heroes that I personally think contribute a lot to the society. Most of the people won't volunteer for this job because police officer usually have to sacrifice their morning and get to the police department at 6 AM everyday in order to maintain justice throughout the society. Traffic police have to keep the order on the street and block all the drunk drivers no matter what the weather is.
Not only those people who work in the public safety position are heroes, people, no matter what professions, who served for the society in a positive way can be considered as an everyday hero.
